Luna SCAS lived with in the woods with her family along with 3 other dogs and 5 kids. She and another dog (already adopted through EHR) were surrendered to a rural shelter. In spite of the life she's led, Luna is soooo loving to humans and other dogs, big and small, male and female. We've included videos of Luna and several shelter dogs playing together. EHR is trying to give Luna a better life than she's had or might have, ending up on a chain.

Luna is so beloved at the shelter that she's the "office dog". Volunteers take her to their homes for a little break from shelter life. In spite of her size, she is sweet and gentle. When being surrendered, "her kids" were surrounding her and giving her bellyrubs as they said goodbye to her - Luna had no idea she wasn't going home with them though.

Luna is housetrained, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and loves car rides! Her video shows Luna and Brandie (also coming to EHR) sitting on command and taking treats so very gently. We hope someone will fall in love with this girl and want to give her the happy life she deserves!
